While participating in the NISL program, Dr. Olson created an action learning project (ALP) as part of the curriculum. His ALP was selected by NISL as an exemplary case study, and was published by the RAND Corporation in October 2019. His work is now part of NISL’s 2021 leadership curriculum for Unit 3: Elements of Coherent and Aligned Learning Systems and is used as an exemplary case study for leaders to study across the country.
